Does an AI read every message to sort it?
No. You describe a rule in plain words and Sodaroad drafts candidate rules from that description alone; nothing from your mail is sent. Once you approve a rule it runs deterministically on every message, the same way every time.
Can a message be in two channels?
No. Channel membership is exclusive. When several rules match, the channel you ranked highest wins, so there is always exactly one answer to which agent is responsible for a message.
What can a rule do?
Route to a channel, mark as priority, or move to another channel. Rules can match sender, domain, subject, headers, contact labels and more, and each candidate shows how many of your existing conversations it would match before you save it.
Does this change anything in Gmail?
No. Channels are a view over your mail in Sodaroad. Your Gmail labels and folders are untouched.
